What are Declarations? (aka Decrees)

We hear a lot of lies from the world around us that say we are not good enough in some way. This is especially damaging and confusing when it comes from people who are supposed to love us. When we hear something repeatedly, we believe it. To counter this, we can personalize and speak the truth of what God says about us. If we say these truths out loud, over and over again, we eventually will believe it and counter those lies. It takes repetition over time, but this is one of the ways we can renew our mind.

And do not be conformed to this world, 
but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, 
so that you may prove what the will of God is, 
that which is good and acceptable and perfect.
Romans 12:2 NASB

Cindy’s Declaration List for Renewing the Mind:

I am ______________________, loved by Jesus (John 15:9) 

chosen by God Himself! (1Thessalonians 1:4) (Ephesians1:11) 

I am a temple filled with his Holy Spirit. (1Corinthians 3:16) 

I am a child of the One True King. (2Corinthians 6:18  (John_1:12)

I am victorious in my fight against evil (Psalm 20:6)

I am an overcomer! (Revelation 12:11)

I am FREE (Galatians 5:1) and 

I have been given JOY for my STRENGTH. (Nehemiah 8:10) 

My sorrows will turn into JOY (Jeremiah_31:13) 

   and my JOY will be COMPLETE. (John 15:11)

God almighty is my HOPE and my ANCHOR. (Hebrews 6:19) 

   and He has called my name (Isaiah 43:1) (Exodus 33:17)

I have no fear (Psalm 23:4) 

No weapon formed against me will prevail (Isaiah 54:17)

I am more than a conqueror! (Romans 8:37).

The one who is in me is greater than the one who is in the world. (1John 4:4)

I have the mind of Christ! (1 Corinthians 2:16 )

Jesus is my Provider (Acts 14:17), 

my Redeemer (Galatians 3:13) (Psalm 34:22) 

my Healer (1Peter 2:24)

my Protector and (Psalm 91:14)

my Friend (John 15:15) 

my Husband (Isaiah 54:5) 

         and my only Lord (1Timothy 2:5) 

I am made righteous by the blood of Jesus. (Romans 8:4)

I am FORGIVEN and made CLEAN. (1John 1:9)

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. (Philippians 4:13)

I am NOT ALONE. (Isaiah 41:10) (Matthew 28:20)

Jesus left heaven for me (John 6:38)

    and He bore my sins on the cross. (1Peter 2:24)

He died for me, and Jesus is my KING (2Corinthians 5:15) 

   who conquered the grave. (1Corinthians 15:26)

Christ lives in me ( Galatians 2:20)

and I am in Him. (1Corinthians 1:30)

His spirit is with me FOREVER. (Romans 8:11) 

Because He lives, I live! (John 14:19)
